The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Petrică Costandin received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. After a rather tough play, Peticei's Cazimir Vizitiu got a free kick in the 7th minute. Ovidiu Ciolpan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eugen Mihăileanu in the 13th minute. Iurie Oblemenco didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cazimir Vizitiu went, in the 18th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Augustin Vulcănescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cazimir Vizitiu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Iurie Oblemenco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC. DaBuLeCheO's goalkeeper Iurie Oblemenco, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ovidiu Ciolpan made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Eugen Mihăileanu sent off a good shot on target. In the 35thth minute of the game Cazimir Vizitiu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC. DaBuLeCheO's Iurie Oblemenco was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Horea Vulcan kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Cazimir Vizitiu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

In the 54th minute Eugen Mihăileanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ovidiu Ciolpan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 56th minute, Ferdinand Milcu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Peticei getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Horea Vulcan hit a great ball. DaBuLeCheO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gheorghe Mocanu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Iurie Oblemenco made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Cazimir Vizitiu sent off a good shot on target. 78 minutes into the match, Peticei's goal looked a bit too open when Costin Isaicu came free, but Ovidiu Ciolpan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cazimir Vizitiu got free with Iurie Oblemenco in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. FC. DaBuLeCheO's Iurie Oblemenco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cazimir Vizitiu in the 84th minute of play. In the 87th minute Peticei were awarded a corner. Cazimir Vizitiu went to the cornerflag to take it. Augustin Vulcănescu was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. In the 96th minute Costin Isaicu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ovidiu Ciolpan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Peticei players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
