Spectators: 6725 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1715, VIP seats: 10) Feneris's Leonard Murgu started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Silviu Ionașcu took the ball and in the 4 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ovidiu Macovescu. Ovidiu Macovescu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 7th minute, Vlad Bogdănescu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 12th minute, David Murgu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Feneris getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Irinel Colin hit a great ball. After 17 played minutes, Thundering Thunderbolt's Gelu Cândroveanu shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ovidiu Macovescu came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Thundering Thunderbolt reached it. Ovidiu Macovescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emil Tătăruşanu in the 19th minute of the match. A collision led to Feneris getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Horia Semeghin hit a great ball. Irinel Colin kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silviu Ionașcu in the 28th minute of play forced Feneris's goalkeeper Ovidiu Macovescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 35th minute, Toader Jupân hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ovidiu Macovescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vlad Bogdănescu in the 39th minute of the match. After taking down the ball on Thundering Thunderbolt's corner Sergiu Măgurean fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Ovidiu Macovescu quite easily take care of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silviu Ionașcu in the 46th minute of play forced Feneris's goalkeeper Ovidiu Macovescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Horia Semeghin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Adrian Baldovin having to make a save. After 70 played minutes Feneris got a freekick which was hit by Irinel Colin. After a rather tough play, Thundering Thunderbolt's Silviu Ionașcu got a free kick in the 71st minute. Feneris's Horia Semeghin got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Marcu Moșoiu hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Through an outstanding action, after 78 minutes, Ovidiu Macovescu successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 79 minutes into the match, Vlad Bogdănescu notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Feneris's Ovidiu Macovescu. Ovidiu Macovescu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Irinel Colin's late challenge caught a Thundering Thunderbolt's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Irinel Colin helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Thundering Thunderbolt booed when Feneris was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Irinel Colin didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Feneris fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Thundering Thunderbolt were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
