Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Petrică Varga started the match with the kick off. Ion Zgaroi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eusebiu Hrib having to interfere. After 6 played minutes Sacalii Furibunzi got a freekick which was hit by Alin Caranică. 9 minutes into the match, Lihulesti UFC's Ion Zgaroi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Eusebiu Hrib narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ion Zgaroi got free with Eusebiu Hrib in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Eusebiu Hrib showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dacian Croitoru in the 15th minute of the match. In the 20thth minute of the game Dacian Croitoru who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sacalii Furibunzi's Eusebiu Hrib was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Dacian Croitoru kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Eusebiu Hrib. That made the score 1-0 in the 24 minute of play. The throw-in from Marian Simuţ in the 27th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Lihulesti UFC's Nicolae Ailioaiei. A hard shot 33 in the game by Ion Zgaroi from a close distance when the talented Eusebiu Hrib managed to make a qualified save. Sacalii Furibunzi's players were relieved. 35 minutes into the match, Sacalii Furibunzi's goalkeeper Eusebiu Hrib had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ion Zgaroi. The Lihulesti UFC fans' excitement grew in the 40th match minute when Lihulesti UFC's Dacian Croitoru looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. If Dacian Croitoru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ion Zgaroi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ion Zgaroi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eusebiu Hrib having to interfere. Bogdan Teofil made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Alin Caranică sent off a good shot on target. After 55 played minutes Lihulesti UFC got a freekick which was hit by Dacian Croitoru. Ion Zgaroi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Lihulesti UFC's Dacian Croitoru in the 58th minute got a chance for a shot 58th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sacalii Furibunzi's goalie prevented a goal. Eusebiu Hrib showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ion Zgaroi, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Eusebiu Hrib stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dacian Croitoru's shot from short distance in the 64th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dacian Croitoru in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eusebiu Hrib prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Eusebiu Hrib took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ion Zgaroi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 68 minutes into the match, Sacalii Furibunzi's goal looked a bit too open when Dacian Croitoru came free, but Eusebiu Hrib reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lihulesti UFC's Ion Zgaroi got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Dacian Croitoru's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eusebiu Hrib was relentless in the 78th minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ion Zgaroi in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eusebiu Hrib saved Sacalii Furibunzi from getting behind. Dacian Croitoru received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Eusebiu Hrib tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 85th minute of the match Isac Abraham shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Eusebiu Hrib showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dacian Croitoru in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eusebiu Hrib saved Sacalii Furibunzi from getting behind. If Ion Zgaroi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eusebiu Hrib made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dacian Croitoru in the 93rd minute of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Lihulesti UFC had played much better football throughout.
