Emil Tătăruşanu kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Dumitru Pârvuță managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ulea's supporters rose to their feet, but Dumitru Pârvuță was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Adrian Baldovin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Petrică Ciolacu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thundering Thunderbolt's Adrian Baldovin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dumitru Pârvuță in the 12th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Thundering Thunderbolt's Eugen Panduru got a free kick in the 12th minute. If Dumitru Pârvuță had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 22nd minute Aristide Vladimirescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adrian Baldovin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vlad Bogdănescu scored 1-0 in the 23rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mircea Apostolescu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dumitru Pârvuță in the 27th minute of play forced Thundering Thunderbolt's goalkeeper Adrian Baldovin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 27th match minute, Thundering Thunderbolt was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emil Tătăruşanu to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aristide Vladimirescu in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Adrian Baldovin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Adrian Baldovin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dumitru Pârvuță in the 36th minute of the match. Dumitru Pârvuță received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Adrian Baldovin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Costel Ferenț hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Cristi Budianu's late challenge caught a Thundering Thunderbolt's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cristi Budianu helped the player get up and apologised. Cristi Budianu hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. In the 56th minute, Costel Ferenț hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dumitru Pârvuță in the 57th minute of play forced Thundering Thunderbolt's goalkeeper Adrian Baldovin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Silviu Ionașcu in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mircea Apostolescu saved Ulea from getting behind. Aristide Vladimirescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Emil Tătăruşanu fell near the penalty area in the 62nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Thundering Thunderbolt's protests and gave Emil Tătăruşanu a yellow card for diving instead.
