If Petrică Varga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 23 minutes, Petrică Varga managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sacalii Furibunzi's supporters crossed their fingers, but Petrică Varga was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Petrică Ciolacu hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Sandu Arjoca's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mircea Apostolescu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. In the 28th minute, Alin Caranică had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. 28 minutes into the game, Petrică Ciolacu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Eusebiu Hrib showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aristide Vladimirescu in the 67th minute of the match. Sacalii Furibunzi's Sandu Arjoca got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Petrică Ciolacu hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. A collision led to Sacalii Furibunzi getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Viorel Hrebenciuc hit a great ball. Eusebiu Hrib took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aristide Vladimirescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sacalii Furibunzi's Petrică Varga got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Ulea's Aristide Vladimirescu in the 82nd minute got a chance for a shot 82nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sacalii Furibunzi's goalie prevented a goal. The supporters of Ulea booed when Sacalii Furibunzi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position.
