Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Zelau's Eduard Calini started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eduard Calini in the 4th minute of play forced Visan's goalkeeper Robert Arapașu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Eduard Şumălan came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the Zelau fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eduard Şumălan couldn't finish the play. A hard shot 7 in the game by Eduard Calini from a close distance when the talented Robert Arapașu managed to make a qualified save. Visan's players were relieved. Horia Gruescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robert Arapașu having to interfere. Alex Ionaș hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. In the 11th minute, Eduard Şumălan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Zelau fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. A collision led to Zelau getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Eduard Calini hit a great ball. In the 16th minute Eduard Calini shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robert Arapașu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Eduard Şumălan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Eduard Şumălan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robert Arapașu having to interfere. If Eduard Şumălan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eduard Calini sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Denis Popescu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Daniel Sterescu having to make a save. If Eduard Şumălan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 37th match minute, Visan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iustinian Bugariu to maneuver through the defense. Visan's Robert Arapașu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eduard Calini in the 38th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eduard Şumălan got free with Robert Arapașu in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 46th minute the ball was on its way in behind Visan's goalkeeper Robert Arapașu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 48 played minutes Eduard Calini rounded Visan's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mihnea Cămărășan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Nae Tache kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Denis Popescu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Daniel Sterescu made a huge save. Eduard Şumălan struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Robert Arapașu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Zelau. Denis Popescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniel Sterescu having to interfere. Mihnea Cămărășan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 85th minute Eduard Şumălan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robert Arapașu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 91 played minutes Visan got a freekick which was hit by Romeo Domide. 93 minutes into the match, Visan's goal looked a bit too open when Eduard Şumălan came free, but Robert Arapașu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Visan's Robert Arapașu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eduard Calini in the 95th minute of play. The supporters of Visan booed when Zelau was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eduard Şumălan didn't get a good kick on the ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the Visan players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Zelau.
