Dráusio Pereira showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. If Ionuț Panțâru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Iosif Albu during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Pompiliu Hrușcă made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ionuț Panțâru in the 21st minute. The Jiul Petrosani 1919 fans cheered their team off the field, for while Socola FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
