With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pompiliu Udubaşa in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gigi Groșan saved Supanu AC from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Isac Podgoreanu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Centru Juniori's supporters rose to their feet, but Isac Podgoreanu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gigi Groșan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Mihail Marchiș fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Centru Juniori's protests and gave Mihail Marchiș a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Centru Juniori getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Mihail Marchiș hit a great ball. Eugen Pătrășcanu received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Eugen Buzatu's late challenge caught a Centru Juniori's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Pompiliu Udubaşa made a kick off. After 51 played minutes Supanu AC got a freekick which was hit by Iacob Măndica.
