In the 4th minute, Paul Racoviță hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 7th minute of the game Luca Ioneasa made a throw-in which Aron Brad played forward. Toader Cârstea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dinu Ciulei could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Cazimir Bănățeanu made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dinu Ciulei got free with Cazimir Bănățeanu in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ferestrele AS's attentive Nichifor Săraru managed to snatch the ball when Luca Ioneasa made a throw-in in the 20th minute of the game. In the 22nd minute, a hard, long distance shot from Liviu Ciurea hit the top of the crossbar and flew over the goal. 23 minutes into the match, C.S. Lia Herghe's goal looked a bit too open when Gigi Spineanu came free, but Eric Marin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ferestrele AS's Cazimir Bănățeanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Toader Cârstea in the 25th minute of play. Aron Brad showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Emilian Lovinescu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Toader Cârstea in the 56th minute of play forced Ferestrele AS's goalkeeper Cazimir Bănățeanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cazimir Bănățeanu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alin Buricea in the 57th minute of the match. In the 58th minute Mihail Gherghe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cazimir Bănățeanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aron Brad couldn't finish the play. 78 minutes into the match, Toader Cârstea had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cazimir Bănățeanu. Ferestrele AS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Toader Cârstea was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. Paul Racoviță fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eric Marin having to interfere. In the 90th minute, Ferestrele AS's Gigi Spineanu dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 6-2. Aron Brad recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. C.S. Lia Herghe fully deserved thier win.
