Spectators: 7511 (Terracing: 5634, Seating: 1727, VIP seats: 150) 6 minutes into the match, SS Lazio Sibiu's goal looked a bit too open when Isac Podgoreanu came free, but Ferid İzgü reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, SS Lazio Sibiu's Ferit Serir got a free kick in the 9th minute. Alex Agudin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Horia Vătavu made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Alex Agudin sent off a good shot on target. 29 minutes into the game, Paul Covaci was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SS Lazio Sibiu's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Centru Juniori the free kick. Paul Covaci hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. In the 33rd minute, Isac Podgoreanu made a precise shot to the right of Ferid İzgü. SS Lazio Sibiu's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Isac Podgoreanu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ferid İzgü having to interfere. In the 43rd minute, Paul Covaci hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ferid İzgü came out of the goal in the 46th minute to try and stop a shot by Centru Juniori's Pompiliu Udubaşa. But to his dismay, Pompiliu Udubaşa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Isac Podgoreanu was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute Alex Agudin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Horia Vătavu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Horia Vătavu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aurelian Arseanu, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. When Alex Agudin came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the SS Lazio Sibiu fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alex Agudin couldn't finish the play. Horia Vătavu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristi Dobre in the 68th minute of the match. In the 70th minute, Mihail Marchiș had to leave the field with a concussion. Paul Covaci was shown his second yellow card after 70 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After a rather tough play, SS Lazio Sibiu's Paul Covaci got a free kick in the 72nd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alex Agudin in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Horia Vătavu saved Centru Juniori from getting behind. Alex Agudin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Horia Vătavu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Centru Juniori's Horia Vătavu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alex Agudin in the 85th minute of play. Alex Agudin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Centru Juniori's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
