Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Isac Pâslaru started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pavel Măgherușan got free with Sandu Nițu in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 12 minutes into the match, Corcodel CSM's goal looked a bit too open when Iordache Maleș came free, but Sandu Nițu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Corcodel CSM's zone, Vasile Nanu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sandu Nițu came out of the goal and Vasile Nanu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 21st minute, Hotesti's Pavel Măgherușan ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Sandu Nițu. Sandu Nițu yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. If Narcis Reznic had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Iordache Maleș came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Hotesti fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Iordache Maleș couldn't finish the play. In the 33rd minute, Narcis Reznic ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sandu Nițu was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. When Pavel Măgherușan came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Hotesti fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pavel Măgherușan couldn't finish the play. 38 minutes into the match, Iordache Maleș dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Sandu Nițu, 3-0. Hotesti's Iordache Maleș was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 49th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Iordache Maleș made a kick off. Isac Pâslaru received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Eric Lupașcu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 60th minute the ball was on its way in behind Corcodel CSM's goalkeeper Sandu Nițu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 68th match minute, Corcodel CSM was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Calistrat Bociort to maneuver through the defense. Iordache Maleș sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Vasile Nanu fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hotesti's protests and gave Vasile Nanu a yellow card for diving instead. In the 76th match minute, Hotesti was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vasile Nanu to maneuver through the defense. In the 82nd minute, one of Corcodel CSM:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Corcodel CSM. The referee gave Hotesti a penalty, 84 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Romeo Ciompec, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Corcodel CSM's Sandu Nițu. 6-0. Iordache Maleș received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Sandu Nițu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Corcodel CSM defense, Pavel Măgherușan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sandu Nițu. The Corcodel CSM fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sandu Nițu should have stopped the shot. Hotesti's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
