Pompiliu Udubaşa showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. But to his dismay, Dorin Jităreanu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Ferestrele AS's Cazimir Bănățeanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isac Podgoreanu in the 26th minute of play. In the 27th minute Paul Racoviță shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Horia Vătavu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pompiliu Udubaşa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Cazimir Bănățeanu made a huge save. In the 37th minute Emilian Lovinescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Horia Vătavu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paul Racoviță in the 38th minute of play forced Centru Juniori's goalkeeper Horia Vătavu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Ferestrele AS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cazimir Bănățeanu should have stopped the shot. After 60 played minutes, Ferestrele AS's Vasile Grozuță shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Horia Vătavu came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Ferestrele AS reached it. Horia Vătavu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emilian Lovinescu in the 65th minute of play. 67 minutes into the match, Mihail Marchiș had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cazimir Bănățeanu. Ferestrele AS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mihail Marchiș was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Paul Racoviță sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Paul Racoviță could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Horia Vătavu made a huge save. Cazimir Bănățeanu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pompiliu Udubaşa went, in the 77th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. In the 80th minute Isac Podgoreanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cazimir Bănățeanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cazimir Bănățeanu came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by Centru Juniori's Isac Podgoreanu. But to his dismay, Isac Podgoreanu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. If Gigi Spineanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 90 minutes into the match, Ferestrele AS's Emilian Lovinescu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Horia Vătavu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Emilian Lovinescu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Horia Vătavu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 91st minute of play. 94 minutes into the game, Centru Juniori's Mihail Marchiș nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cazimir Bănățeanu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-0.
