But to his dismay, Emilian Lovinescu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Vasile Grozuță took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 38th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Gigi Groșan. Supanu AC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 39 minutes into the game, Fabian Prelipceanu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Supanu AC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ferestrele AS the free kick. The supporters of Ferestrele AS booed when Supanu AC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. When the final whistle sounded Ferestrele AS left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Supanu AC.
