A very good chance. 33 minutes into the game, Eugen Buzatu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Supanu AC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Football Stars the free kick. A collision led to Supanu AC getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Eugen Buzatu hit a great ball. In the 36thth minute of the game Viorel Itoafă who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Supanu AC's Gigi Groșan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Viorel Itoafă had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Viorel Itoafă in the 46th minute of play forced Supanu AC's goalkeeper Gigi Groșan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

After a rather tough play, Supanu AC's Fabian Prelipceanu got a free kick in the 70th minute. After 72 minutes, Gigel Mercea mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Supanu AC and the Football Stars players grew even worse after the yellow card. Gigel Mercea hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. The Supanu AC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gigi Groșan should have stopped the shot. Gigi Groșan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Viorel Itoafă in the 97th minute of play. When the referee ended the match the Football Stars players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
