Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ciprian Vasiliu started the match with the kick off. 8 minutes into the match, AFC AMA BUZAU's goal looked a bit too open when Ciprian Vasiliu came free, but Stelian Drâmbă reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 11 minutes, Valentin Văcaru managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. F.C. BUDENI's supporters crossed their fingers, but Valentin Văcaru was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Remus Neguțu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 16th minute, Remus Neguțu reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Iulian Urducea. The goal made the score 2-0. Horia Zogreanu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Iulian Urducea made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Marius Arnăuțoiu sent off a good shot on target. In the 24th match minute, F.C. BUDENI was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aurel Baican to maneuver through the defense. If Remus Neguțu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 29th minute, Marius Arnăuțoiu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The AFC AMA BUZAU fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. In the 32ndth minute of the game Marius Arnăuțoiu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but F.C. BUDENI's Iulian Urducea was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Mihail Muncelean had several of the F.C. BUDENI's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 34 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 5-0 score and a disappointed Iulian Urducea as he didn't even see the shot coming. An unexpectedly hard shot by Horia Zogreanu in the 37th minute of play forced F.C. BUDENI's goalkeeper Iulian Urducea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Iulian Urducea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Horia Zogreanu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Mihail Muncelean had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Iulian Urducea stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Horia Zogreanu's shot from short distance in the 41st minute. Cezar Caramitru fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iulian Urducea having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-0 at half-time.

A collision led to F.C. BUDENI getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Eusebiu Elenescu hit a great ball. Remus Neguțu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eusebiu Elenescu hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. With his leg Stelian Drâmbă managed to avoid a goal in the 65thth minute, when F.C. BUDENI's Valentin Văcaru fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 66th match minute, AFC AMA BUZAU was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Remus Neguțu to maneuver through the defense. Aurel Baican received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Stelian Drâmbă tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 71st minute, Mihail Muncelean hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Horia Zogreanu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Iulian Urducea read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play. F.C. BUDENI's Iulian Urducea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marius Arnăuțoiu in the 76th minute of play. AFC AMA BUZAU's Horia Zogreanu got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Robert Lopatnicu fell near the penalty area in the 81st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored F.C. BUDENI's protests and gave Robert Lopatnicu a yellow card for diving instead. Robert Lopatnicu kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Mihail Muncelean's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Iulian Urducea read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 83rd minute of play. When the referee ended the match the AFC AMA BUZAU players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
