Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Vintilă Horodincă made the kick off which started today's match. Nicolae Levința charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nicolae Levința the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Runcurel CSS booed when Motaenii was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicolae Levința didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pompiliu Petrean kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. Runcurel CSS's Sorin Cismaș played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonard Petrean in the 9th minute of play. Vintilă Horodincă fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rafael Márquez having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Motaenii's zone, Ion Ciocârlan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rafael Márquez came out of the goal and Ion Ciocârlan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nicolae Levința hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. In the 17th minute, Vintilă Horodincă got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Runcurel CSS's zone, Ferdinand Barbosu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sorin Cismaș came out of the goal and Ferdinand Barbosu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ferdinand Barbosu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 31 minutes, Vintilă Horodincă managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Runcurel CSS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vintilă Horodincă was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ion Ciocârlan kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. After 38 played minutes Vintilă Horodincă rounded Motaenii's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. After 42 played minutes Runcurel CSS got a freekick which was hit by Gică Paveliuc. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Ferdinand Barbosu made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Marin Basarab hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Denis Corcoveanu was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 52nd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Maxim Țepelea hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Rafael Márquez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vintilă Horodincă, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 70th minute, Runcurel CSS's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Ferdinand Barbosu fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The supporters of Motaenii booed when Runcurel CSS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ionică Pârvulescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 93 minutes of play, Motaenii's Denis Corcoveanu made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sorin Cismaș was left in no man's land by his defense there! The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
