The supporters of Tungujei AFC booed when gcg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristinel Hirean didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, gcg's Cristinel Hirean got a free kick in the 7th minute. After 11 played minutes Tungujei AFC got a freekick which was hit by Marin Tecău. Octav Ciocoiu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Constantin Avacariței in the 17th minute of the match. When the match clock showed 21 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Ionel Pescaru sped through Tungujei AFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Octav Ciocoiu. A collision led to Tungujei AFC getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Fabian Jumancă hit a great ball. Ionel Pescaru charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ionel Pescaru the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 26th match minute, gcg was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ionel Pescaru to maneuver through the defense. Petre Dică might have been able to make a better finish in the 27th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Radu Istrate. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Petre Dică ran back to his position shaking his head. After 31 minutes, Petre Dică made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. gcg's Radu Istrate tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 34th minute Cristinel Hirean shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Octav Ciocoiu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 35 minutes, Petre Dică managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tungujei AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Petre Dică was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Olimpiu Zgabei sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 39 minutes into the game, Tungujei AFC's Petre Dică nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Radu Istrate made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Petre Dică received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Radu Istrate came out and tried to block the shot, but Petre Dică slotted it home off the left post making it 3-1 in the 46th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

The wind increased when David Ispirescu made the kick off in the second half. Radu Istrate showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Petre Dică in the 57th minute of the match. Tungujei AFC's Octav Ciocoiu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristinel Hirean in the 60th minute of play. Radu Istrate showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Petre Dică in the 63rd minute of the match. After some careless play in the gcg defense, Petre Dică kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Radu Istrate. The gcg fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Radu Istrate should have stopped the shot. After having played for 72 minutes, Petre Dică managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tungujei AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Petre Dică was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Constantin Avacariței could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Octav Ciocoiu made a huge save. Tungujei AFC:s Octav Ciocoiu showed great skill when he stopped Martin Pârvulescu:s penalty. Octav Ciocoiu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Martin Pârvulescu went, in the 82nd minute, to the upper right corner, 4-2 was the resulting score. Olimpiu Zgabei fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Radu Istrate having to interfere. If Viorel Barbăneagră had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 93rd minute Olimpiu Zgabei shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Radu Istrate saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tungujei AFC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Tudor Andone in the 95th minute. After taking down the ball on Tungujei AFC's corner Tudor Andone fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Radu Istrate quite easily take care of the ball. Tungujei AFC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
