Spectators: 7515 (Terracing: 5637, Seating: 1728, VIP seats: 150) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Ciprian Vasiliu kicked off to start the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Valentin Văcaru got free with Rafael Márquez in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 5 minutes, Leonard Petrean managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Motaenii's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leonard Petrean was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 8thth minute of the game Leonard Petrean who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but F.C. BUDENI's Iulian Urducea was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonard Petrean in the 9th minute of play forced F.C. BUDENI's goalkeeper Iulian Urducea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aron Giurăscu hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Ferdinand Barbosu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Leonard Petrean had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of F.C. BUDENI booed when Motaenii was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Octav Dijmărescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Ferdinand Barbosu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 30th minute of the match, Valentin Văcaru got a very nice opportunity to score, but Rafael Márquez was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Leonard Petrean in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Iulian Urducea prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ferdinand Barbosu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Iulian Urducea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Motaenii booed when F.C. BUDENI was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Robert Lopatnicu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nicolae Levința sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Iulian Urducea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leonard Petrean, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Leonard Petrean made a kick off. After 51st play minutes Leonard Petrean shot 0-2, a short shot which went by Iulian Urducea and just under the crossbar into goal. Ferdinand Barbosu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Iulian Urducea made a huge save. A collision led to F.C. BUDENI getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Robert Lopatnicu hit a great ball. Ferdinand Barbosu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Iulian Urducea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Iulian Urducea stood somewhat misplaced when Leonard Petrean came free in front of goal and shot 1-3 to the left of him in the 71 minute. Leonard Petrean sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. F.C. BUDENI's Iulian Urducea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonard Petrean in the 76th minute of play. A collision led to F.C. BUDENI getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Aurel Baican hit a great ball. Ferdinand Barbosu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Iulian Urducea made a huge save. In the 81st minute, Ferdinand Barbosu made a precise shot to the right of Iulian Urducea. F.C. BUDENI's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-4. Ferdinand Barbosu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Iulian Urducea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 91 played minutes Leonard Petrean rounded F.C. BUDENI's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-6. When Ferdinand Barbosu came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Motaenii fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ferdinand Barbosu couldn't finish the play. Motaenii's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
