Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Milan's Eugen Cristoiu started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Eugen Cristoiu kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Petre Dică managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tungujei AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Petre Dică was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Costin Chesaru breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Olimpiu Zgabei fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Costin Chesaru having to interfere. If Petre Dică had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 20 minutes, Petre Dică managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tungujei AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Petre Dică was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 24th minute Francisc Iorga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Octav Ciocoiu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 26 minutes, Olimpiu Zgabei managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tungujei AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Olimpiu Zgabei was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Petre Dică might have been able to make a better finish in the 28th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Costin Chesaru. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Petre Dică ran back to his position shaking his head. After 29 minutes, Stelian Pop mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Milan and the Tungujei AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Stelian Pop hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Olimpiu Zgabei might have been able to make a better finish in the 30th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Costin Chesaru. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Olimpiu Zgabei ran back to his position shaking his head. After 32 played minutes Milan got a freekick which was hit by Stelian Pop. Costin Chesaru showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Petre Dică, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. The Tungujei AFC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Milan were winning 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Petre Dică stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Olimpiu Zgabei recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 57th minute, Nistor Hațegan reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Octav Ciocoiu. The goal made the score 0-2. Tungujei AFC's Octav Ciocoiu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nistor Hațegan in the 60th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nistor Hațegan in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Octav Ciocoiu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Costin Chesaru took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Petre Dică, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Costin Chesaru stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Petre Dică's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. After 70 minutes of play, Milan's Francisc Iorga made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Octav Ciocoiu was left in no man's land by his defense there! The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Leontin Buznea during the 74th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Leontin Buznea hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. In the 75th minute of the match Tudor Andone shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Costin Chesaru showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Octav Ciocoiu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leontin Buznea in the 77th minute of play. In the 78th minute Eugen Cristoiu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Octav Ciocoiu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Viorel Barbăneagră hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Olimpiu Zgabei sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Octav Ciocoiu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eugen Cristoiu in the 86th minute of the match. A collision led to Tungujei AFC getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Tudor Andone hit a great ball. The supporters of Milan booed when Tungujei AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Petre Dică didn't get a good kick on the ball.
