In the 19th minute Grigore Murgoci shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sandu Codrea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Red Bull CLUJ's Adrian Chitoran got a free kick in the 19th minute. Sandu Codrea dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Sandu Codrea stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Grigore Murgoci's shot from short distance in the 45th minute. The Red Bull CLUJ players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Kadirlez were winning 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Eduard Harnagea made a kick off. Emanuel Stroescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matei Floruțiu in the 52nd minute of the match. After 52 minutes, George Prodan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kadirlez and the Red Bull CLUJ players grew even worse after the yellow card. Radu Alucusan kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Emanuel Stroescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manole Zbereanu in the 92nd minute of the match. Kadirlez were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
