Ivan Ştefănică took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Manuel Bârza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Grigore Murgoci kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. Nicu Micu kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. If Manuel Bârza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 14 minutes into the match, Manuel Bârza had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ivan Ştefănică. Foresta Ceahlau's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Manuel Bârza was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Grigore Murgoci got free with Ivan Ştefănică in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 24 played minutes Foresta Ceahlau got a freekick which was hit by Marian Tudose. Manuel Bârza did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-0 to the left of a surprised Ivan Ştefănică 26 minutes into the match. Nae Gănescu kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. After 32 minutes of play, Kadirlez's Grigore Murgoci made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ivan Ştefănică was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ivan Ştefănică made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Grigore Murgoci in the 37th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The crowd rose to their feet as Pavel Bacalu kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Emanuel Stroescu. That made the score 3-1 in the 54 minute of play. After a rather tough play, Foresta Ceahlau's Marius Reznic got a free kick in the 57th minute. Carter Cordone sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 65 minutes into the match, Foresta Ceahlau's goal looked a bit too open when Carter Cordone came free, but Ivan Ştefănică reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Iurie Haidău had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Grigore Murgoci took the ball and in the 71 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ivan Ştefănică. Ivan Ştefănică dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. The supporters of Kadirlez booed when Foresta Ceahlau was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marian Tudose didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Carter Cordone managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kadirlez's supporters rose to their feet, but Carter Cordone was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ivan Ştefănică breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Kadirlez's Nae Gănescu got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Pavel Bacalu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kadirlez walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
