Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Aron Boacă got the match started through his kick off. When Ovidiu Medrea came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the FC Policub Ghiroda fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ovidiu Medrea couldn't finish the play. Narcis Melinescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emil Ipate having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Isac Iriza during the 9th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 9th minute, Isac Iriza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in FC Policub Ghiroda's zone, Narcis Melinescu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emil Ipate came out of the goal and Narcis Melinescu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 12 played minutes FC Policub Ghiroda got a freekick which was hit by Doru Merișor. Francisc Frențiu struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Emil Ipate didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tiur SC. When Damian Antohi came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Tiur SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Damian Antohi couldn't finish the play. After 23 played minutes FC Policub Ghiroda got a freekick which was hit by Codrin Pâslaru. FC Policub Ghiroda's defense didn't have a chance, in the 24th minute, when Aron Boacă scored to the left of an out of position Emil Ipate, making the score, 1-0. Emil Ipate showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Damian Antohi in the 27th minute of the match. After having played for 28 minutes, Francisc Frențiu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tiur SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Francisc Frențiu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. FC Policub Ghiroda's Emil Ipate played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Francisc Frențiu in the 30th minute of play. The supporters of FC Policub Ghiroda booed when Tiur SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adam Aristide didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ovidiu Medrea charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ovidiu Medrea the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 32 played minutes FC Policub Ghiroda got a freekick which was hit by Ovidiu Medrea. An unexpectedly hard shot by Damian Antohi in the 40th minute of play forced FC Policub Ghiroda's goalkeeper Emil Ipate to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Radu Andronache to strike the kick off in the second half. Maxim Gheorghiu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Radu Andronache, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Francisc Frențiu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Narcis Melinescu hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Basarab Iorga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Maxim Gheorghiu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Narcis Melinescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Francisc Frențiu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Francisc Frențiu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Emil Ipate tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Through an outstanding action, after 87 minutes, Maxim Gheorghiu successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Aron Boacă recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tiur SC's Maxim Gheorghiu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Radu Andronache in the 92nd minute of play. Tiur SC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
