Olimpiu Baltian received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Eliodor Varga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gunners's Ionuț Hagi fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. In the 36thth minute of the game Ionuț Hagi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lupeni FCM's Tudor Bărboianu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 38 minutes into the match, Lupeni FCM's goal looked a bit too open when Ionuț Hagi came free, but Tudor Bărboianu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
