Caciulati-Admiral's supporters crossed their fingers, but Isac Scutaru was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. F.C. Caciulati-Admiral's Cezar Ilieș proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save F.C. Caciulati-Admiral from getting a goal against them. Dacian Şimoc was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 24th minute. Ulm's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. F.C. Caciulati-Admiral's Cezar Ilieș proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save F.C. Caciulati-Admiral from getting a goal against them. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tudor Macamete in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Codrin Magherescu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 44th minute, Ulm's Paul Barascu dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

When Doru Păunescu came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Ulm fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Doru Păunescu couldn't finish the play. Doru Păunescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cezar Ilieș having to interfere. A collision led to F.C. Caciulati-Admiral getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Isac Scutaru hit a great ball. In the 57th minute Dacian Şimoc shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cezar Ilieș saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cezar Ilieș tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 65thth minute of the game Dacian Şimoc who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but F.C. Caciulati-Admiral's Cezar Ilieș was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Doru Păunescu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cezar Ilieș didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dacian Şimoc went, in the 68th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Cezar Ilieș made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dacian Şimoc in the 72nd minute of play. 76 minutes into the game, Paul Barascu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ulm's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave F.C. Caciulati-Admiral the free kick. In the 76th match minute, Ulm was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paul Barascu to maneuver through the defense. When the match had gone on for 77 minutes, Tudor Macamete took a quick shot and it went in 2-2 without a chance for Codrin Magherescu to make any attempt to save it. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Iustin Agârbiceanu during the 80th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Ulm's Iustin Agârbiceanu got a free kick in the 80th minute. If Dacian Şimoc had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Doru Păunescu in the 91st minute of play forced F.C. Caciulati-Admiral's goalkeeper Cezar Ilieș to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. F.C. Caciulati-Admiral's Cezar Ilieș played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Doru Păunescu in the 92nd minute of play. Cezar Ilieș took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dacian Şimoc, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dacian Şimoc scored 3-2 in the 95th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cezar Ilieș, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ulm's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
