After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Anton Ciompec managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Peretu's supporters rose to their feet, but Anton Ciompec was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Codrin Magherescu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 11 minutes into the match, FC Peretu's goal looked a bit too open when Dacian Şimoc came free, but Leontin Cobzeanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 12 minutes into the match, FC Peretu's goal looked a bit too open when Doru Păunescu came free, but Leontin Cobzeanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Horia Cinteză sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Codrin Magherescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Petru Baba in the 26th minute of play. Paul Barascu hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. 27 minutes into the match, Ulm's goal looked a bit too open when Petru Baba came free, but Codrin Magherescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leontin Cobzeanu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dacian Şimoc in the 30th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Ulm's Dinu Ghimiș got a free kick in the 31st minute. 35 minutes into the game, Anton Ciompec recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Codrin Magherescu. Anton Ciompec showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. Anton Ciompec recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

Anton Ciompec's late challenge caught a Ulm's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Anton Ciompec helped the player get up and apologised. After 52 played minutes FC Peretu got a freekick which was hit by Anton Ciompec. Felix Romanescu took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Codrin Magherescu. Codrin Magherescu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. After a rather tough play, FC Peretu's Anton Ciompec got a free kick in the 60th minute. After 62 minutes, Mădălin Agulescu mouthed his way into the referee's book. When the match clock showed 65 minutes, the score became 5-0 when Felix Romanescu sped through Ulm's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Codrin Magherescu. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Eugen Păvăloae the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of FC Peretu protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Eugen Păvăloae had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 77 minutes into the match, FC Peretu's goal looked a bit too open when Tudor Jder came free, but Leontin Cobzeanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 87 minutes, Horia Cinteză managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Peretu's supporters crossed their fingers, but Horia Cinteză was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Filip Pupăzan kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Anton Ciompec received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Codrin Magherescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Anton Ciompec in the 94th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Codrin Magherescu saved Ulm from getting behind. In the 96th minute, Petru Baba got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. There was no doubt that FC Peretu were the better team. FC Peretu's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
