After 27 played minutes Catelesti CSS got a freekick which was hit by Manole Rădulescu. After 28 played minutes, F.C. Caciulati-Admiral's Narcis Lopatnicu shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Valentin Beligan came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in F.C. Caciulati-Admiral reached it. If Nicodim Miclea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Valentin Beligan was a little too slow when Tudor Macamete got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 32nd minute. The score was now 1-1. After 42 minutes, Paul Floruțiu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the F.C. Caciulati-Admiral and the Catelesti CSS players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Catelesti CSS booed when F.C. Caciulati-Admiral was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paul Floruțiu didn't get a good kick on the ball. The corner led to Catelesti CSS's Cezar Hidiș getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tudor Macamete was the one to do the kick off. Valentin Beligan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
