Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) After a defensive mix-up in Catelesti CSS's zone, Felix Romanescu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Valentin Beligan came out of the goal and Felix Romanescu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 8th minute Felix Romanescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valentin Beligan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Catelesti CSS's zone, Petru Baba stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Valentin Beligan came out of the goal and Petru Baba tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cosmin Crușeveanu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Leontin Cobzeanu made a huge save. If Felix Romanescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After having played for 15 minutes, Anton Ciompec managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Peretu's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anton Ciompec was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cezar Hidiș in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Leontin Cobzeanu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 24 minutes into the game, Cosmin Crușeveanu recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Leontin Cobzeanu. Cosmin Crușeveanu showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Valentin Beligan came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Peretu's Felix Romanescu. But to his dismay, Felix Romanescu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Petru Baba recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 42nd minute Manole Rădulescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leontin Cobzeanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 43 minutes, Moise Pavalescu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Peretu and the Catelesti CSS players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, FC Peretu's Moise Pavalescu got a free kick in the 43rd minute. In the 45th minute of the match Stelian Gliga sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Leontin Cobzeanu skillfully saved the ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cezar Hidiș to make the kick off. Petru Baba sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cezar Hidiș in the 61st minute of play forced FC Peretu's goalkeeper Leontin Cobzeanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Manole Rădulescu kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Leontin Cobzeanu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cezar Hidiș, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Pompiliu Bădiță managed to get in a good position for a shot. Catelesti CSS's supporters rose to their feet, but Pompiliu Bădiță was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leontin Cobzeanu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, FC Peretu's Anton Ciompec got a free kick in the 68th minute. After 70 played minutes FC Peretu got a freekick which was hit by Anton Ciompec. When Anton Ciompec came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the FC Peretu fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anton Ciompec couldn't finish the play. With 76 minutes on the clock, Moise Pavalescu commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The supporters of Catelesti CSS booed when FC Peretu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Moise Pavalescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nae Brăiloiu struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Leontin Cobzeanu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Catelesti CSS. If Anton Ciompec had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leontin Cobzeanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cosmin Crușeveanu in the 82nd minute of play. Catelesti CSS's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Anton Ciompec 85 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-2. Valentin Beligan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Petru Baba, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Anton Ciompec got free with Valentin Beligan in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Anton Ciompec fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valentin Beligan having to interfere. FC Peretu played a much better game than Catelesti CSS and deserved their victory. The Catelesti CSS players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
