Spectators: 7034 (Terracing: 5250, Seating: 1734, VIP seats: 50) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Dacian Şimoc took the kick off in the first half of the match. Virgil Gavruță succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 7th playminute. Vlad Lupșoiu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Codrin Magherescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 17 minutes into the game, one of FC Barcelona:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Calistrat Teodoreanu went to the wrong direction when Tudor Jder was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. After having played for 29 minutes, Virgil Gavruță managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Barcelona's supporters crossed their fingers, but Virgil Gavruță was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpected shot in the 31st minute by Vlad Lupșoiu got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 37 minutes into the match, FC Barcelona's goal looked a bit too open when Iustin Agârbiceanu came free, but Calistrat Teodoreanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 38 played minutes FC Barcelona got a freekick which was hit by Marcel Chițu. Calistrat Teodoreanu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dacian Şimoc, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

In the 51st match minute, FC Barcelona was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristi Brăescu to maneuver through the defense. Doru Păunescu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dacian Şimoc in the 53rd minute of play forced FC Barcelona's goalkeeper Calistrat Teodoreanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcel Chițu kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Doru Păunescu charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Doru Păunescu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Dacian Şimoc received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Calistrat Teodoreanu came out and tried to block the shot, but Dacian Şimoc slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 71st minute. In the 79th match minute, FC Barcelona was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Basarab Răduțu to maneuver through the defense. Ulm's Tudor Jder shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 80th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Calistrat Teodoreanu but with some difficulty. Vlad Lupșoiu took the ball and in the 87 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Codrin Magherescu. Codrin Magherescu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. In the 91st minute, Doru Păunescu fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. 94 minutes into the match, Ulm's goal looked a bit too open when Vlad Lupșoiu came free, but Codrin Magherescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Codrin Magherescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vlad Lupșoiu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. FC Barcelona's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
