In the 20th minute, Virgil Gavruță got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, FC Barcelona's Calistrat Teodoreanu got control of the ball when Cosmin Crușeveanu tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 33rd minute, Virgil Gavruță made a precise shot to the right of Valentin Beligan. Catelesti CSS's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Vlad Lupșoiu to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52ndth minute of the game Vlad Lupșoiu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Catelesti CSS's Valentin Beligan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With an all-out effort, FC Barcelona's Valentin Beligan threw himself towards the right post 80 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Vlad Lupșoiu, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Virgil Gavruță sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 87 minutes of play, Catelesti CSS's Cosmin Crușeveanu made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Calistrat Teodoreanu was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of Catelesti CSS booed when FC Barcelona was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcel Chițu didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 98 minutes FC Barcelona's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Nae Brăiloiu who took care of the corner kick. FC Barcelona's Calistrat Teodoreanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cezar Hidiș in the 99th minute of play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. FC Barcelona had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
