With his leg Gigi Mazăre managed to avoid a goal in the 40thth minute, when Chiciura CSS's Ovidiu Ionaș fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Anton Chira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Horea Tudoran made a kick off. In the 51st minute, Caraaci FC's Horea Tudoran ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Maxim Dugulescu. Maxim Dugulescu yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-3. 54 minutes into the game, Eric Ciordaș was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Chiciura CSS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Caraaci FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Chiciura CSS's Eric Ciordaș got a free kick in the 54th minute. Alin Bălace sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ovidiu Ionaș in the 61st minute of play forced Caraaci FC's goalkeeper Gigi Mazăre to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Anton Chira scored 1-3 in the 73rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gigi Mazăre, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 82nd match minute, Chiciura CSS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anton Chira to maneuver through the defense. Anton Chira charged in rather forcefully in the 84th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Anton Chira the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 84 played minutes Chiciura CSS got a freekick which was hit by Anton Chira. After a defensive mix-up in Caraaci FC's zone, Anton Chira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gigi Mazăre came out of the goal and Anton Chira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Horea Tudoran had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eugen Chindriș kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Chiciura CSS's Anton Chira got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Caraaci FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
