Romeo Abutnăriței took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Irinel Oprescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 45 minutes into the game, Denis Lelescu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. F.C Voinicelul's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave -MAD- Reborn Ghiroda the free kick. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Irinel Oprescu to make the kick off. After 79 minutes -MAD- Reborn Ghiroda's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Rareș Cămărășan who took care of the corner kick. An unexpected shot in the 81st minute by Toader Barbu got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. If Toader Barbu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The -MAD- Reborn Ghiroda fans cheered their team off the field, for while F.C Voinicelul had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
