Ciprian Cazimir made in the 17th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Francisc Ciuhandu. FC Sustiu's defense didn't have a chance, in the 19th minute, when Francisc Ciuhandu scored to the left of an out of position Pavel Ruşdea, making the score, 1-0. If Adam Popan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 25 minutes in the game Romeo Bălășescu did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Marcu Văcărescu. Marcu Văcărescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Denis Butuc having to interfere. Pavel Ruşdea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Francisc Ciuhandu in the 29th minute of the match. After having played for 32 minutes, Marcu Văcărescu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Francisc Ciuhandu made the kick off in the second half. Pavel Ruşdea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucian Eniceicu, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Marcu Văcărescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Denis Butuc having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Marcu Văcărescu managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Sustiu's supporters rose to their feet, but Marcu Văcărescu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Denis Butuc breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 57 minutes into the match, doctoreanu fc's goalkeeper Denis Butuc had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Romeo Bălășescu. The supporters of FC Sustiu booed when doctoreanu fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lucian Eniceicu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Denis Butuc stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marcu Văcărescu's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. Denis Butuc made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when Romeo Bălășescu sent off a good shot on target. Marcu Văcărescu struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Denis Butuc didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Sustiu. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Albert Bulzan's shot from long distance in the 82nd minute was not bad at all, but doctoreanu fc's Denis Butuc knew what was happening and pushed the ball into his arms just before it hit the right post. After 83 minutes, Francisc Ciuhandu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the doctoreanu fc and the FC Sustiu players grew even worse after the yellow card. Marcu Văcărescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Denis Butuc having to interfere. Marcu Văcărescu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Denis Butuc made a huge save. In the 88th minute, FC Sustiu's Șerban Vâlcu ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Denis Butuc. Denis Butuc yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-1. Denis Butuc stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marcu Văcărescu's shot from short distance in the 91st minute. Many of FC Sustiu's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. FC Sustiu may have spent more time on the ball, but doctoreanu fc were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
