Cezar Bojincă's late challenge caught a FC Sustiu's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cezar Bojincă helped the player get up and apologised. Marcu Văcărescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Marcu Văcărescu came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the FC Sustiu fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marcu Văcărescu couldn't finish the play.

Petre Ignea breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Petre Ignea didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Șerban Vâlcu went, in the 72nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Through an outstanding action, after 76 minutes, Pavel Ruşdea successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After a rather tough play, FC Sustiu's Albert Bulzan got a free kick in the 81st minute. Francisc Curcă hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Marcu Văcărescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Petre Ignea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Petre Ignea didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marcu Văcărescu went, in the 88th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. A sloppy throw-in by Edgar Mihăescu in the 93rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by FC Sustiu's Șerban Vâlcu. In the 94thth minute of the game Marcu Văcărescu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC THERMOSYSTEM's Petre Ignea was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, FC THERMOSYSTEM's Cezar Bojincă got a free kick in the 96th minute. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. FC Sustiu had won after a very even match.
