The supporters of Garliste booed when doctoreanu fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Francisc Ciuhandu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Costel Verzeanu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Denis Butuc having to interfere. Ionuț Nicoliță received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Denis Butuc tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Through an outstanding action, after 14 minutes, Denis Butuc successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Denis Butuc showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bogdan Angheluș, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. After a defensive mix-up in doctoreanu fc's zone, Ionuț Nicoliță stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Denis Butuc came out of the goal and Ionuț Nicoliță tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. doctoreanu fc's Denis Butuc played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Costel Verzeanu in the 34th minute of play. Ionuț Nicoliță sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 37th minute, Costel Verzeanu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 38 minutes into the match, Ionuț Nicoliță had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Denis Butuc. doctoreanu fc's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ionuț Nicoliță was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Aurelian Popean came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by doctoreanu fc's Lucian Eniceicu. But to his dismay, Lucian Eniceicu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. If Ionuț Nicoliță had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Costel Verzeanu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 50th minute, Petru Buș had to leave the field with a concussion. After 50 minutes, Lucian Eniceicu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the doctoreanu fc and the Garliste players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 51st minute, Lucian Eniceicu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 52 minutes of play, Garliste's Ionuț Nicoliță made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Denis Butuc was left in no man's land by his defense there! Bogdan Angheluș sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Denis Butuc showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bogdan Angheluș in the 61st minute of the match. In the 62nd minute, Costel Verzeanu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Denis Butuc was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. After having played for 71 minutes, David Bilașco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Garliste's supporters crossed their fingers, but David Bilașco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lucian Eniceicu got free with Aurelian Popean in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sever Oroian hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Ionuț Nicoliță received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Denis Butuc tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Garliste fully deserved thier win.
