Spectators: 7579 (Terracing: 5685, Seating: 1743, VIP seats: 151) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Emil Maghear got the match started through his kick off. After 3 minutes, Andrei Panaiteanu made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Rocket FC's Nicolae Şerb tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Călin Dedu charged in rather forcefully in the 5th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Călin Dedu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 6th match minute, Ciucani was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Călin Dedu to maneuver through the defense. Filip Cernea recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Călin Dedu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicolae Şerb having to interfere. Mihnea Braru showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emil Maghear, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Nicolae Şerb took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Filip Cernea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 18 minutes into the match, Andrei Panaiteanu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nicolae Şerb. Rocket FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Andrei Panaiteanu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Avram Timofte kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. In the 22nd minute, Filip Cernea ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nicolae Şerb was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Andrei Panaiteanu succeeded in the game's 26th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-4. The crowd rose to their feet as Eugen Mareș kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Mihnea Braru. That made the score 1-4 in the 29 minute of play. In the 33rd minute, Filip Cernea made a precise shot to the right of Nicolae Şerb. Rocket FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-5. The audience was convinced that Filip Cernea's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nicolae Şerb was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. Filip Cernea might have been able to make a better finish in the 47th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nicolae Şerb. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Filip Cernea ran back to his position shaking his head. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-5.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Filip Cernea to strike the kick off in the second half. Nicolae Şerb made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Martin Brădean sent off a good shot on target. When Martin Brădean came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Ciucani fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Martin Brădean couldn't finish the play. In the 58th minute, Călin Dedu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ciucani fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-6. Mihnea Braru didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Emil Maghear went, in the 63rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-6 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Filip Cernea in the 66th minute of play forced Rocket FC's goalkeeper Nicolae Şerb to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nicolae Şerb stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Andrei Panaiteanu's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. Nicolae Şerb came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by Ciucani's Filip Cernea. But to his dismay, Filip Cernea quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-7. Ciucani's Mihnea Braru played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eugen Mareș in the 74th minute of play. Călin Dedu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nicolae Şerb took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andrei Panaiteanu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Rocket FC booed when Ciucani was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Martin Brădean didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eugen Mareș in the 82nd minute of play forced Ciucani's goalkeeper Mihnea Braru to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Filip Cernea's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nicolae Şerb read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 82nd minute of play. Andrei Panaiteanu who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 85thth minute tested the skills of Nicolae Şerb when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Mihnea Braru took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eugen Mareș, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ciucani's Andrei Panaiteanu got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Rocket FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ciucani were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
