Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 36 minutes into the match, FC SANATATEA's goal looked a bit too open when Matei Ivănescu came free, but Thaddeus Routhier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. FC SANATATEA's Thaddeus Routhier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andrei Buculeasa in the 38th minute of play. Thaddeus Routhier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andrei Buculeasa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cătălin Piersic charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cătălin Piersic the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Cătălin Piersic hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Andrei Buculeasa made a kick off. A collision led to Mlecanesti getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Matei Ivănescu hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ionică Pivniceru during the 63rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Thaddeus Routhier made an important save on a dangerous shot by Matei Ivănescu in the 90th minute. After having played for 91 minutes, Sever Ionășescu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC SANATATEA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sever Ionășescu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to FC SANATATEA getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Ionuț Amânaloae hit a great ball. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
