Cristi Grigoriu kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. Cristi Grigoriu charged in rather forcefully in the 8th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cristi Grigoriu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 8th match minute, Bubulina FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristi Grigoriu to maneuver through the defense. Bubulina FC's Ion Ene proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save Bubulina FC from getting a goal against them. In the 16th match minute, Bubulina FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gheorghe Maleș to maneuver through the defense. Bubulina FC's Vali Olăroiu got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Paul Berca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ion Ene having to interfere. Ion Ene made an important save on a dangerous shot by Constantin Filip in the 28th minute. Constantin Filip could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Ion Ene made a huge save. In the 34th minute of the match Teodor Cârneci sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Olimpiu Maghear skillfully saved the ball. Olimpiu Maghear didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Vali Olăroiu went, in the 35th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. After having played for 38 minutes, Daniel Dijmărescu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bubulina FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Dijmărescu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Olimpiu Maghear didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mugurel Tolea went, in the 40th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Ion Ene showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paul Berca, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Yassi's Constantin Filip got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Vali Olăroiu made a kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Bubulina FC's goal looked a bit too open when David Ostoici came free, but Ion Ene reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Olimpiu Maghear made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Dijmărescu in the 54th minute of play. A collision led to Yassi getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Cazimir Minculescu hit a great ball. Bubulina FC's attentive Cristi Grigoriu managed to snatch the ball when Marin Todericiu made a throw-in in the 64th minute of the game. Olimpiu Maghear acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 71st minute, took the ball on the long shot from Teodor Cârneci. A collision led to Bubulina FC getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Eusebiu Tiberian hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Constantin Filip in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ion Ene saved Bubulina FC from getting behind. In the 82nd minute, Mugurel Tolea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Mugurel Tolea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bubulina FC played a much better game than Yassi and deserved their victory. The Yassi players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
