FC FuLgErU's Ştefan Ştirbu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ştefan Răuțu in the 13th minute of play. Cristi Mustăcilă made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gică Manta in the 16th minute of play. In the 16th minute, Toader Goga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had gone on for 19 minutes, Gică Manta took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Cristi Mustăcilă to make any attempt to save it. The supporters of AG FC booed when FC FuLgErU was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Victor Bârza didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ştefan Ştirbu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mihnea Mangra's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. In the 33rdth minute of the game Mihnea Mangra who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC FuLgErU's Ştefan Ştirbu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Mihnea Mangra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ştefan Răuțu in the 41st minute of play forced FC FuLgErU's goalkeeper Ştefan Ştirbu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 43 minutes into the match, Mihnea Mangra had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ştefan Ştirbu. FC FuLgErU's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mihnea Mangra was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ştefan Răuțu to strike the kick off in the second half. Isac Damian fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristi Mustăcilă having to interfere. Iulian Miu hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. AG FC's Mihnea Mangra got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gică Manta charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gică Manta the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 63 played minutes FC FuLgErU got a freekick which was hit by Gică Manta. Mihnea Mangra's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ştefan Ştirbu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 65th minute of play. FC FuLgErU's Isac Damian got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Aurel Blăniță hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Mihnea Mangra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ştefan Ştirbu having to interfere. Mihnea Mangra might have been able to make a better finish in the 73rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ştefan Ştirbu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mihnea Mangra ran back to his position shaking his head. 75 minutes into the match, AG FC's Mihnea Mangra sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ştefan Ştirbu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Aurelian Chitila charged in rather forcefully in the 76th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. After a rather tough play, AG FC's Aurelian Chitila got a free kick in the 76th minute. 77 minutes into the match, Gică Manta notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of AG FC's Cristi Mustăcilă. Cristi Mustăcilă was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. FC FuLgErU's Gică Manta got his second yellow card of the match in the 87th minute. The referee ordered Gică Manta off the ground. After a defensive mix-up in FC FuLgErU's zone, Ştefan Răuțu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ştefan Ştirbu came out of the goal and Ştefan Răuțu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 93rd minute Ştefan Răuțu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ştefan Ştirbu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee blew the final whistle, FC FuLgErU could leave the field as winners, despite AG FC having more of the ball for most of the match.
