If Nechifor Şumălan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in FC FuLgErU's zone, Emilian Visarion stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ştefan Ştirbu came out of the goal and Emilian Visarion tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Victor Bârza charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Victor Bârza the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, FC FuLgErU's Victor Bârza got a free kick in the 16th minute. Valer Lechințan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Emilian Visarion's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ştefan Ştirbu was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Emilian Visarion in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. A collision led to Juguri getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Valer Lechințan hit a great ball. Juguri's Irinel Cozaru played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gică Manta in the 36th minute of play. Nechifor Şumălan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 43rdth minute of the game Emilian Visarion who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC FuLgErU's Ştefan Ştirbu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Nechifor Şumălan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Irinel Cozaru made an important save on a dangerous shot by Victor Bârza in the 48th minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Emilian Visarion made a kick off. Nechifor Şumălan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Ştefan Ştirbu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Through an outstanding action, after 55 minutes, Ştefan Ştirbu successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 56 minutes into the match, FC FuLgErU's goalkeeper Ştefan Ştirbu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Emilian Visarion. FC FuLgErU's Gică Manta got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Emilian Visarion in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ştefan Ştirbu saved FC FuLgErU from getting behind. Nechifor Şumălan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Ştefan Ştirbu made a huge save. Emilian Visarion sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Emilian Visarion in the 66thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ştefan Ştirbu, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save.
