After 9 played minutes FC FuLgErU got a freekick which was hit by Dumitru Josan. After recieving a nice pass, Doar Dinamo Bucuresti's Ciprian Vulcănescu tried to score from far away in the 9th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 11th minute the ball was on its way in behind Doar Dinamo Bucuresti's goalkeeper Marius Hortopan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Marius Hortopan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gică Manta, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. In the 14th minute, Gică Manta left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC FuLgErU fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Valeriu Gheară in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ştefan Ştirbu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Marius Hortopan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isac Damian in the 24th minute of play. After having played for 27 minutes, Gică Manta managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC FuLgErU's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gică Manta was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Nae Pavelescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alexandru Nițu kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, FC FuLgErU's Isac Damian got a free kick in the 38th minute. 45 minutes into the game, Dumitru Josan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Marius Hortopan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.

The wind increased when Valeriu Gheară made the kick off in the second half. If Isac Damian had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nae Pavelescu in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ştefan Ştirbu saved FC FuLgErU from getting behind. Corneliu Blaj kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Marius Hortopan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gică Manta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of FC FuLgErU booed when Doar Dinamo Bucuresti was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isac Pătrașcu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marius Hortopan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gică Manta in the 76th minute of play. Isac Damian's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marius Hortopan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 77th minute of play. Marius Hortopan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gică Manta in the 79th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Doar Dinamo Bucuresti's zone, Gică Manta stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marius Hortopan came out of the goal and Gică Manta tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 82 minutes into the match, FC FuLgErU's Isac Damian sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marius Hortopan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Nae Pavelescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ştefan Ştirbu having to interfere. Ştefan Ştirbu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Valeriu Gheară's shot from short distance in the 94th minute. The FC FuLgErU supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing FC FuLgErU would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
