Claudiu Marghescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aurelian Chitila, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. FC MITI's Claudiu Marghescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ştefan Răuțu in the 22nd minute of play. A collision led to FC MITI getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Marius Marinică hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in AG FC's zone, Romeo Stătescu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cristi Mustăcilă came out of the goal and Romeo Stătescu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mihnea Mangra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Claudiu Marghescu having to interfere. Aurelian Gorun charged in rather forcefully in the 36th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aurelian Gorun the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 36th minute, Aurelian Gorun hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mihnea Mangra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. The audience was convinced that Ştefan Răuțu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Claudiu Marghescu was relentless in the 71st minute of the game. Romeo Stătescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristi Mustăcilă having to interfere. Codrin Dănășel might have been able to make a better finish in the 78th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Claudiu Marghescu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. FC MITI's Claudiu Marghescu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save FC MITI from getting a goal against them. 0-3 became the score in the 91st minute when Ştefan Răuțu elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Iordache Cantemir recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The FC MITI fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. AG FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
