But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Romeo Stătescu couldn't finish the play. 6 minutes into the match, Yassi's goal looked a bit too open when Marius Marinică came free, but Olimpiu Maghear reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, FC MITI's Claudiu Marghescu got control of the ball when Constantin Filip tried to sneak it across the goal line. Constantin Filip received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Claudiu Marghescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 11th match minute, FC MITI was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Virgil Ardeleanu to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Constantin Filip managed to get in a good position for a shot. Yassi's supporters rose to their feet, but Constantin Filip was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Claudiu Marghescu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 17th minute, Emil Milcoveanu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in FC MITI's zone, Paul Berca stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Claudiu Marghescu came out of the goal and Paul Berca tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Constantin Filip fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Claudiu Marghescu having to interfere. In the 22nd minute, Constantin Filip reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Claudiu Marghescu. The goal made the score 1-0. After 24 played minutes Yassi got a freekick which was hit by Pompiliu Jupâneanu. When Emil Milcoveanu fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC MITI's protests and gave Emil Milcoveanu a yellow card for diving instead. When the match clock showed 27 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Paul Berca sped through FC MITI's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Claudiu Marghescu. Paul Berca struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Claudiu Marghescu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Yassi. Claudiu Marghescu was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Paul Berca showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 34 minute of play. Paul Berca received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Claudiu Marghescu came out and tried to block the shot, but Paul Berca slotted it home off the left post making it 4-0 in the 41st minute. Constantin Filip kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match.

After having played for 56 minutes, Romeo Stătescu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC MITI's supporters crossed their fingers, but Romeo Stătescu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Constantin Filip managed to get in a good position for a shot. Yassi's supporters rose to their feet, but Constantin Filip was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Claudiu Marghescu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Claudiu Marghescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Constantin Filip in the 66th minute of the match. Romeo Stătescu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Olimpiu Maghear read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 68th minute of play. 71 minutes into the match, FC MITI's goal looked a bit too open when Constantin Filip came free, but Claudiu Marghescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, FC MITI's Emil Milcoveanu got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Olimpiu Maghear made an important save on a dangerous shot by Romeo Stătescu in the 79th minute. If Romeo Stătescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 96 minutes into the match, FC MITI's goal looked a bit too open when Constantin Filip came free, but Claudiu Marghescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Yassi had played much better football throughout.
