Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Eugen Șeicaru showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mugurel Tolea, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Vali Olăroiu scored 0-1 in the 16th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Eugen Șeicaru, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 21st minute Daniel Dijmărescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eugen Șeicaru saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 23rd minute of the match, Matei Ivănescu got a very nice opportunity to score, but Ion Ene was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Ion Ene took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cătălin Piersic, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 26 minutes into the match, Mlecanesti's goal looked a bit too open when Vali Olăroiu came free, but Eugen Șeicaru reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Andrei Buculeasa was the one to do the kick off. Ion Ene came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by Mlecanesti's Matei Ivănescu. But to his dismay, Matei Ivănescu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. In the 58th minute, Nistor Alexe made a precise shot to the right of Ion Ene. Bubulina FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. Ion Ene showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andrei Buculeasa, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. 71 minutes into the match, Nistor Alexe notched a goal, 5-1, to the right of Bubulina FC's Ion Ene. Ion Ene was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Mugurel Tolea showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 6-2. Mlecanesti's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
