Spectators: 7481 (Terracing: 5612, Seating: 1720, VIP seats: 149) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Eusebiu Răduța took the kick off in the first half of the match. 6 minutes into the game, FC Tici taca Barcelona's Eusebiu Răduța nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mihnea Codru made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. When Iulian Ciuvică came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Academy Football Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Iulian Ciuvică couldn't finish the play. In the 15th match minute, FC Tici taca Barcelona was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manuel Elenescu to maneuver through the defense. Ovidiu Movileanu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mihnea Codru having to make a save. Luca Onete kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Academy Football Club's Mihnea Codru played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ovidiu Movileanu in the 21st minute of play. 22 minutes into the match, Academy Football Club's goal looked a bit too open when Ovidiu Movileanu came free, but Mihnea Codru reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 29th minute, Ovidiu Movileanu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Tici taca Barcelona fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. When Manuel Elenescu fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Tici taca Barcelona's protests and gave Manuel Elenescu a yellow card for diving instead. After 32 played minutes FC Tici taca Barcelona got a freekick which was hit by Manuel Elenescu. Mihnea Codru showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eusebiu Răduța, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Eusebiu Răduța recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Eusebiu Răduța came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the FC Tici taca Barcelona fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eusebiu Răduța couldn't finish the play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Iulian Ciuvică to make the kick off. Olimpiu Fundătoreanu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ilie Voiculescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. In the 56th minute Iulian Ciuvică shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olimpiu Fundătoreanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mihnea Codru took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eusebiu Răduța, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 63 minutes into the match, Eusebiu Răduța notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Academy Football Club's Mihnea Codru. Mihnea Codru was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 69th minute of the match Academy Football Club got a corner. FC Tici taca Barcelona's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Iustin Baicea ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Academy Football Club's corner Iustin Baicea fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Olimpiu Fundătoreanu quite easily take care of the ball. Olimpiu Fundătoreanu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iulian Ciuvică in the 76th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Ilie Voiculescu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Academy Football Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Ilie Voiculescu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Olimpiu Fundătoreanu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Iustin Baicea, 81 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Academy Football Club's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Eusebiu Răduța 86 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-4. 93 minutes into the match, Academy Football Club's goal looked a bit too open when Eusebiu Răduța came free, but Mihnea Codru reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 94th minute the ball was on its way in behind Academy Football Club's goalkeeper Mihnea Codru, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the final whistle sounded FC Tici taca Barcelona left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Academy Football Club.
