Spectators: 7449 (Terracing: 5624, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 100) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Gigi Şumălan took the kick off in the first half of the match. The supporters of Casciorele booed when Oliver was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iurie Ghiondea didn't get a good kick on the ball. Valeriu Eniceicu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Valeriu Eniceicu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Oliver's Horaţiu Măgură got a free kick in the 13th minute. Oliver's Codrin Suluțiu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabian Crașovan in the 16th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Fabian Crașovan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Codrin Suluțiu was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. Ivan Brumaru took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mădălin Costin. Mădălin Costin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Codrin Suluțiu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valeriu Eniceicu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Casciorele getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Dinu Tăbăcaru hit a great ball. Oliver's Iurie Ghiondea shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 27th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Mădălin Costin but with some difficulty. In the 33rd minute, Fabian Crașovan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Casciorele fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. In the 36th minute the ball was on its way in behind Oliver's goalkeeper Codrin Suluțiu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Fabian Crașovan came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Casciorele fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fabian Crașovan couldn't finish the play. Codrin Suluțiu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Valeriu Eniceicu's shot from short distance in the 43rd minute. 45 minutes into the game, Casciorele's Dinu Tăbăcaru nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Codrin Suluțiu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. After the first half Casciorele were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fabian Crașovan was the one to do the kick off. Fabian Crașovan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Codrin Suluțiu having to interfere. Mădălin Costin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gigi Şumălan, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. After 64 played minutes Oliver got a freekick which was hit by Nechifor Balc. When the match had gone on for 66 minutes, Fabian Crașovan took a quick shot and it went in 1-3 without a chance for Codrin Suluțiu to make any attempt to save it. Valeriu Eniceicu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Codrin Suluțiu having to interfere. Oliver's Codrin Suluțiu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabian Crașovan in the 76th minute of play. In the 76th match minute, Oliver was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nechifor Balc to maneuver through the defense. Valeriu Eniceicu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Codrin Suluțiu having to interfere. If Gigi Şumălan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fabian Crașovan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Codrin Suluțiu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Valeriu Eniceicus short, quick shot in the 89thth minute got Codrin Suluțiu to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The Oliver fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Casciorele were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
