Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Iulian Ciuvică got the match started through his kick off. Cristian Burca might have been able to make a better finish in the 3rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mihnea Codru. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cristian Burca ran back to his position shaking his head. Nicu Tâbârnă stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Iulian Ciuvică's shot from short distance in the 7th minute. When Cristian Burca came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the FC Pegas București fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristian Burca couldn't finish the play. Mihnea Codru made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Burca in the 12th minute of play. Fabian Gheară kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. If Iulian Ciuvică had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fabian Gheară fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mihnea Codru having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ilie Voiculescu in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nicu Tâbârnă prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Cristian Burca came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the FC Pegas București fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristian Burca couldn't finish the play. Cazimir Drăghincescu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cristian Burca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Mihnea Codru tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Fabian Gheară came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the FC Pegas București fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fabian Gheară couldn't finish the play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Damian Predescu hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. When FC Pegas București's Cristian Burca in the 63rd minute got a chance for a shot 63rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Academy Football Club's goalie prevented a goal. FC Pegas București's Fabian Gheară got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Iulian Ciuvică recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. FC Pegas București's Cristian Burca got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Academy Football Club's Fabian Şantău shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 86th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Nicu Tâbârnă but with some difficulty. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Burca in the 91st minute of play forced Academy Football Club's goalkeeper Mihnea Codru to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 93rd minute, Ilie Voiculescu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With an all-out effort, Academy Football Club's Nicu Tâbârnă threw himself towards the right post 94 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Iulian Ciuvică, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 96thth minute of the game Cristian Burca who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Academy Football Club's Mihnea Codru was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the referee ended the match the FC Pegas București players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
