Academy Football Club's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Super Depor the free kick. After a rather tough play, Academy Football Club's Luca Onete got a free kick in the 7th minute. In the 9th minute Adam Răduța shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mihnea Codru saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mihnea Codru took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adam Răduța, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mihnea Codru showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dumitru Udup in the 13th minute of the match. After 18 played minutes Super Depor got a freekick which was hit by Aurel Boboc. Iulian Ciuvică fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iustin Hulubei having to interfere. The supporters of Super Depor booed when Academy Football Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luca Onete didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 24th minute, Dumitru Udup left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Super Depor fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Fabian Şantău took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 29th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Iustin Hulubei. Super Depor's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Iustin Hulubei showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iulian Ciuvică in the 32nd minute of the match. In the 33rd match minute, Super Depor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Albert Stănoiu to maneuver through the defense.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Iulian Ciuvică stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Iustin Baicea ran over to the corner to take the kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Emilian Isăcescu heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. The Academy Football Club fans' excitement grew in the 66th match minute when Academy Football Club's Ilie Voiculescu looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 69th minute, Adam Răduța got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dumitru Udup took the ball and in the 73 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mihnea Codru. Mihnea Codru dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. Iustin Hulubei showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ilie Voiculescu in the 77th minute of the match. When Iulian Ciuvică came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Academy Football Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Iulian Ciuvică couldn't finish the play. Iustin Hulubei made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ilie Voiculescu in the 80th minute of play. If Ilie Voiculescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Adam Răduța sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Adam Răduța received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Mihnea Codru tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Damian Predescu kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Adam Răduța in the 90th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mihnea Codru prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Dumitru Udup fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mihnea Codru having to interfere. Luca Onete kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. In the 98th minute, Dumitru Udup made a precise shot to the right of Mihnea Codru. Academy Football Club's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-3. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
