After 6 minutes, Eliodor Tăcutu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Brosteri and the Super Depor players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Brosteri's Eliodor Tăcutu got a free kick in the 6th minute. 10 minutes into the game, Cezar Mareș cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Iustin Hulubei was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Iustin Hulubei showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ilie Elefteriu in the 13th minute of the match. Ilie Elefteriu might have been able to make a better finish in the 16th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Iustin Hulubei. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ilie Elefteriu ran back to his position shaking his head. Marcel Leahu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adam Răduța in the 20th minute of the match. When Adam Răduța got free in front of the goal in the 22nd minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Marcel Leahu was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cezar Mareș in the 24th minute of play forced Super Depor's goalkeeper Iustin Hulubei to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 29 minutes into the match, Cezar Mareș had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Iustin Hulubei. Super Depor's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cezar Mareș was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Marcel Leahu was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Pavel Tătaru. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Dumitru Udup managed to get in a good position for a shot. Super Depor's supporters rose to their feet, but Dumitru Udup was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcel Leahu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Marcel Leahu made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Dumitru Udup sent off a good shot on target. The audience was convinced that Cezar Mareș's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Iustin Hulubei was relentless in the 45th minute of the game. 47 minutes into the match, Brosteri's Ilie Elefteriu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Iustin Hulubei narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The Super Depor players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Brosteri were winning 0-2.

The wind increased when Cezar Mareș made the kick off in the second half. After 55 minutes, Aurel Boboc mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Super Depor and the Brosteri players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Super Depor getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Aurel Boboc hit a great ball. Cezar Mareș recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 57 played minutes Super Depor got a freekick which was hit by Vlad Negoescu. In the 60th match minute, Super Depor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Martin Ursu to maneuver through the defense. After 62 played minutes, Brosteri's Lucrețiu Turcan shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Iustin Hulubei came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Brosteri reached it. Ilie Elefteriu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iustin Hulubei having to interfere. Marcel Leahu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dumitru Udup went, in the 68th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. In the 76th minute, Martin Ursu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Brosteri's Marcel Leahu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adam Răduța in the 78th minute of play. Marcel Leahu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Adam Răduța's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. Iustin Hulubei showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cezar Mareș, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. After having played for 90 minutes, Ilie Elefteriu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Brosteri's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ilie Elefteriu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Brosteri had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
