The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 31 minutes into the match, Ivan Brumaru had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Iustin Hulubei. Super Depor's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ivan Brumaru was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Oliver's Marius Marioteanu got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dumitru Udup received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Codrin Suluțiu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gigi Şumălan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gigi Şumălan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 50th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gigi Şumălan to make the kick off. Gigi Şumălan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Iustin Hulubei showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gigi Şumălan in the 56th minute of the match. Ivan Brumarus short, quick shot in the 58thth minute got Iustin Hulubei to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Dumitru Udup blasted a shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Codrin Suluțiu having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dumitru Udup in the 62nd minute of play forced Oliver's goalkeeper Codrin Suluțiu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Adam Răduța struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Codrin Suluțiu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Super Depor. Gigi Şumălan might have been able to make a better finish in the 70th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Iustin Hulubei. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gigi Şumălan ran back to his position shaking his head. After 75 minutes, Nechifor Balc mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Oliver and the Super Depor players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 75th minute, Nechifor Balc hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 76 minutes into the match, Adam Răduța notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Oliver's Codrin Suluțiu. Codrin Suluțiu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to Super Depor getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Aurel Boboc hit a great ball. Super Depor's Iustin Hulubei proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save Super Depor from getting a goal against them. If Dumitru Udup had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 90 minutes into the match, Super Depor's Dumitru Udup sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Codrin Suluțiu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 93 minutes into the match, Gigi Şumălan dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Iustin Hulubei, 2-2. Ivan Brumaru struck a weak shot in the 98th minute. Iustin Hulubei didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Oliver. Iustin Hulubei stood somewhat misplaced when Gigi Şumălan came free in front of goal and shot 2-3 to the left of him in the 98 minute. Oliver's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
