A wasted opportunity for Hurjena. After a defensive mix-up in Hurjena's zone, Ilie Elefteriu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Viorel Pâslaru came out of the goal and Ilie Elefteriu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 9 minutes into the game, Albert Gherase was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hurjena's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Brosteri the free kick. In the 9th match minute, Hurjena was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Albert Gherase to maneuver through the defense. 11 minutes into the game, Ilie Elefteriu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Brosteri's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hurjena the free kick. In the 11th match minute, Brosteri was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ilie Elefteriu to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Hurjena booed when Brosteri was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lucrețiu Turcan didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 16th minute of the match, Ilie Elefteriu got a very nice opportunity to score, but Viorel Pâslaru was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Marcel Leahu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Constantin Micu went, in the 17th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Cezar Mareș hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Romeo Moți managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hurjena's supporters rose to their feet, but Romeo Moți was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcel Leahu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Constantin Micu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 30 minutes into the match, Brosteri's goal looked a bit too open when Constantin Micu came free, but Marcel Leahu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marcel Leahu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Constantin Micu in the 32nd minute of play. Marcel Leahu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Romeo Moți, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. In the 41st minute the ball was on its way in behind Brosteri's goalkeeper Marcel Leahu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some careless play in the Brosteri defense, Romeo Moți kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marcel Leahu. The Brosteri fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcel Leahu should have stopped the shot.
54 minutes into the match, Hurjena's Romeo Moți sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marcel Leahu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Constantin Micu might have been able to make a better finish in the 55th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marcel Leahu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Constantin Micu ran back to his position shaking his head. 57 minutes into the match, Hurjena's Romeo Moți sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marcel Leahu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Marcel Leahu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Constantin Micu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 69 minutes into the match, Brosteri's goal looked a bit too open when Constantin Micu came free, but Marcel Leahu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Albert Gherase recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Marcel Leahu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Romeo Moți in the 77th minute. Marcel Leahu didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 80th minute, which inside left pole to 0-3. Romeo Moți fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcel Leahu having to interfere. Through an outstanding action, after 86 minutes, Marcel Leahu successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 87 minutes into the game, Constantin Micu recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Marcel Leahu. Constantin Micu showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-4. Hurjena's Albert Gherase got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Marcel Leahu made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Romeo Moți sent off a good shot on target. Marcel Leahu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Romeo Moți in the 95th minute. Hurjena's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
